Hillsborough Twp Bid Opportunity: Roof Recovery Project

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the Acting Township Clerk, for the Township of Hillsborough, County of Somerset, State of New Jersey on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at11:00 a.m. prevailing time at the Hillsborough Court Room at the Municipal Complex, 379 South Branch Road, Hillsborough, New Jersey 08844 at which time and place bids will be opened and read in public for:

ROOF RECOVERY PROJECT AT THE

HILLSBOROUGH MUNICIPAL BUILDING

Specifications and other bid information, as prepared by Sullivan Engineering, LLC, may be obtained at theOffice of the Township Clerk, 379 South Branch Road, Hillsborough, New Jersey 08844 (908-369-4313) during normal business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., for a non-refundable fee of $25.00.

The bid consists of removing existing lightning protection, removing the existing roof membrane, replacing compromised insulation, installing ½" cover board, installing a new .060 TPO roof membrane, resetting the lightning protection and other work set out in the specifications. The Township reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantities specified in the manner designated in the specifications.

A pre-bid walk-though meeting will be held on Monday November 14, 2011 at 2:00 pm. All interested bidders who wish to attend should meet at the main entrance to the Township building located at 379 South Branch Road, Hillsborough, NJ 08844 prior to the scheduled start time.
