Hills. Vol. Fire Co. #1 - Sponsorship & "Wetdown" of Their New Vehicle

Release Date: February 04, 2007

Flagtown based Hillsborough Volunteer Fire Company (HVFC) No. 1 (Station 36) is
currently raising funds for the “wetdown” of their new truck through a sponsorship
program. They are relying on generous sponsorships from local businesses.

A Seagrave Quint will be the newest addition to their line of fire apparatus. This
vehicle will provide the dual ability of both an engine and a ladder truck. On June 9th
they will be holding a wetdown for this new vehicle. This celebration is a timehonored
volunteer fire fighting tradition that christens the new piece of apparatus for
use by the department. The business, local and volunteer fire communities are all
invited to the wetdown.

Hillsborough Station 36 proudly protects more than 10,000 citizens in their response
area and with the assistance of other fire companies they serve and protect this
Township of nearly 40,000 people. As Hillsborough continues to grow, they will be
expanding their workforce, capabilities and while continuing to provide a high level of
professionalism, courtesy and fire protection for residents and businesses.

They want to thank the business community in advance for their interest and support
in helping to provide for their department’s program. If you wish to become a
sponsor, please contact Chris Lachowski on his cell phone 908-229-4597. Other
