Lieutenant Governor Praises Hillsborough's Economic Action Plan

Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno, who served as keynote speaker at Thursday's Economic and Business Development Commission (EBDC) Business Social event at Roycebrook Golf Club, praised Hillsborough's Economic Action Plan, which was initiated in 2009 by Mayor Frank DelCore and the Hillsborough Township Committee.

Lieutenant Governor Guadagno, who currently serves as the head of the NJ Red Tape Review Commission, touted Hillsborough's Economic Action Plan, which is designed to move the bureaucracy of the way of local business, as the "right" way to be handling the current economic state.

In speaking to the crowd of over two-hundred local business representatives and dignitaries, Lieutenant Governor Guadagno, who previously served as a federal prosecutor in the United States Attorney's office, as an Assistant Attorney General in New Jersey, and Monmouth County's first woman Sheriff, stated, "Hillsborough is doing it the right way and I know because I have been around the State. I know that the way to put people back to work is to get the local businesses involved and streamline regulations. That is exactly what Hillsborough is doing."
